Job Description

The Mid-Level Truck Driver plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of materials to heavy highway concrete paving sites. This position supports project efficiency by adhering to safety standards and operational protocols, contributing to successful project completion and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Operate dump trucks, water trucks, and other company vehicles to haul aggregates, concrete, and equipment efficiently and safely Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and readiness for operation Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with dispatch and foremen regarding schedules and delivery updates Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed to support project timelines and operational needs Adhere strictly to all DOT, company, and OSHA safety standards during transport and on-site activities Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime Required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy trucks in construction or similar environments Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial vehicle operation Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors Preferred Qualifications Experience working on highway or concrete paving projects Familiarity with load securing and material handling procedures Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues High school diploma or equivalent Safety certifications such as OSHA or HAZMAT training Additional Requirements Must be authorized to work in U.S. Must be willing to travel #J-18808-Ljbffr
