Mig Tig Welder

Rochester company seeking a skilled welder. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating steel and stainless-steel components used in wastewater and sewage system products.

Mig Tig Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Perform MIG or TIG welding on steel and stainless-steel components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including grinders, saws, and measuring tools.

Mig Tig Welder Qualifications:

• MIG or TIG welding experience with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong measuring and layout skills using tape measures and other precision tools.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, fit-up procedures, and weld preparation.
• Ability to troubleshoot weld defects and make adjustments to meet quality standards.
